- Key functions & working principle
| Working Principle |
1. Hot hydraulic oil (heated by pump/valve operation) flows into the cooler’s inlet port and circulates through the internal tubes. |
| 2. Forced air (from a fan) blows over the external fins, which are attached to the tubes. |
| 3. Heat transfers from the oil inside the tubes to the fins, then to the passing air. |
| 4. Cooled oil exits the cooler’s outlet port and returns to the hydraulic system for reuse. |

1. Regulates hydraulic oil temperature to maintain optimal viscosity (prevents oil thinning at high temps or thickening at low temps) |
