• Function

1.Power Transmission: The sun gear is the central gear in the planetary gear system. It receives rotational power from the hydraulic motor or transmission and transmits it to the planet gears that mesh with it. In the final drive, the sun gear meshes with multiple planet gears, and as the sun gear rotates, it drives the planet gears to rotate, thus realizing the transfer of power.

2.Torque Conversion: The sun gear plays an important role in torque conversion. By changing the size and number of teeth of the sun gear and cooperating with the planet gears and ring gear, different speed ratios can be achieved, thereby increasing or decreasing the torque. In the final drive system, the sun gear can reduce the speed and increase the torque, providing sufficient driving force for the wheels or the swing mechanism of the equipment.
